SPI Angle Bracket Berms

The SPI Angle Bracket Berm is a one-piece, thermally bonded spill and secondary spill containment berm. It's light enough to carry but durable enough to contain vehicles, generators or even above-ground oil tanks and electrical transformers — whether energized or spares. Unlike other containment berms, setup is simple and quick: Just unfold and insert the in-wall angled iron brackets.

SPI Angle Bracket
SPI Angle Bracket Berms are available with wall heights ranging from 8" to two feet, for the smallest and largest oil/chemical containment needs. The berms can be equipped with Petro-Pipes for water drainage and total oil containment.

 SPI Angle Bracket Berm Features

• Side walls are reinforced with aluminum stay with a triangular geometry. In the event of a spill, there are semi-rigid wall supports instead of floating walls that are susceptible to containment failures.
• Strong, durable, and lightweight double-ribbed aluminum stays support the berm side walls. In the event that a brace is bent, the aluminum stay can be bent back into position.
• All berm side walls have a 1” top hem, which provides added strength and integrity to the secondary containment berm and prevents fabric fraying.
• All stress-area welds are done with radio frequency (RF) welds — the strongest possible bond with thermo plastic fabrics. This prevents leaks at the seams as is more common with other bonding technologies. RF welding helps ensure a longer containment berm life expectancy and keeps potential berm failure to a minimum.

While corners are weak points on most berms, this is not the case for SPI  secondary containment berms, all of which are designed with wraparound diagonal welds. This eliminates the issues associated with corner design.

SPI secondary containment berms can be staked down at 2-foot intervals. This allows users to secure the berm and eliminate wind as a placement issue.

Secondary Oil Containment Berms Using 32-Ounce Polyurethane Liner

SPI inside strap portable secondary liners can be used with track matting for  tank trailer tires. This 12 x 50-foot liner provides holding capacity for the trailer oil plus 10% for rainfall.
 Secondary Sentry Berm
Two portable secondary oil containment portable berms, both with inside straps and track matting for trailer tires.

 Emergency Portable Containment Liner
For Fast Response To Oil Spills

Made from 18-ounce vinyl, the SPI Portable Emergency Response Liner is lightweight and comes in many sizes. As with all of SPI's liners, they are made to order so the footprint fits your needs. These versatile liners can be used in decontamination after hazmat operations or for oil spills in combination with SPI Oil Bond and spill cleanup products.
The SPI Portable Emergency Response Liner can be set up in minutes to contain a leaking tank in a fuel spill. In oil deliveries they can be placed under the tanker to contain oil released from hose connections.
