Workplace Safety
An adverse oil incident can subject nearby people to health hazards from fumes, chemical reactions or an unexpected after-spill fire. Prolonged or significant exposure can result in physical symptoms like dizziness, nausea, headaches and vomiting. Environmental Compliance

In 2021, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) sold 87.2 million barrels of fuel to separate military branches. Each barrel holds 42 gallons, adding up to over 3.5 billion gallons yearly. DLA reports the agency compiles reserves to meet this demand and has almost 600 storage facilities.
